NEIS, LLC has been a leader in insurance audit and loss control since 1945 and is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. The role involves examining financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, detecting fraud, and verifying adherence to standards. The position is remote with daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying standards.
• Identify necessary information and prepare for audits effectively.
• Schedule audits to optimize time management.
• Coordinate with insured via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, gather data, and describe business operations accurately.
• Complete audit documentation, explain findings to insured, and communicate results to the home office.
• Travel to multiple locations as required.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years’ experience in premium audits, or a comparable education and experience combination.
• Ability to analyze financial documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Visual Audit knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
