NEIS, LLC has been a leader in insurance audit and loss prevention since 1945 and is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team.

The Premium Auditor examines the financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, looking for fraud and adherence to standards.

This role is based from home with required daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying standards.
2. Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and scheduling appointments efficiently.
3. Examine records, determine correct classifications, and describe operations effectively.
4. Prepare audit documentation and communicate results to insured and home office.

Job Requirements:

1. Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years’ experience in premium audits or a relevant combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to analyze financial documents and use Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
3. Good communication skills with customers and staff.
4. Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
