Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Painter to maintain building interiors and exteriors, prep surfaces, and apply paint and finishes across units and common areas. The role may involve indoor and outdoor work, or a mix of both, with schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and weekend days off.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of paint application experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work safely while following procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in the application of paint.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Painting of all common areas and touch up may be required.
• Responsible for inspecting areas that need paint and advising manager.
• Properly matches colors and mixes paint.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with building staff.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
