Job summary

gpac is partnering with a dynamic insurance team for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive role in Oswego Township, Illinois. The position targets a client-focused professional with strong knowledge of commercial lines, licensing, and carrier relationships.

The successful candidate will manage policy updates, quotations, renewals, and client communications, while leveraging an existing book of business when available. A competitive compensation package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Licensing: Property & Casualty license is required.
Experience: 3–5 years in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
Technical knowledge: strong understanding of commercial lines coverage and rating.
Carrier interaction: experience interfacing with multiple carriers and underwriters.
Technology: familiarity with online rating software and carrier systems.
Software: proficiency with Applied TAM, EPIC, AMS360.
MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information.
Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage inquiries.
Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and renewals.
Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information for renewals.
Effective Communication: Maintain timely communication with clients and carrier reps.
Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition.
