Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Account Executive - Insurance to provide risk management consulting and account management for assigned commercial lines accounts, in office or remote depending on location.

The candidate will manage service plans, achieve renewal and retention goals, and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers while handling complex accounts and large premium volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CA P&C license required; must reside in California or Mountain Time Zone.
• 10+ years in commercial insurance.
• Experience handling large premium volumes and complex accounts up to $700K revenue.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems (TAM, AMS 360, EPIC).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Meet 95% retention goal on all assigned accounts.
• Provide risk management to clients, including contract review and policy changes as needed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client executives, brokers, carriers, and consultants.
• Attend and assist with presentations for new business and renewal meetings.
• Mentor Account Managers and Administrators in the Commercial Lines department.
• Negotiate renewal pricing and achieve renewal goals.
• Propose and sell additional coverages and services.
• Coordinate audits and ensure license/CE requirements.
