Job summary

California Closets of Charleston, SC is hiring an Installer to construct, install, and repair custom storage systems based on provided designs. Training is provided; you will work with hand and power tools using CAD drawings to ensure precise installations in homes and commercial spaces.

The role is full-time, Monday through Thursday, with hourly pay and opportunities for overtime, monthly bonuses, and benefits including medical/dental, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Entry level with experience using common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills and ability to finish at furniture quality level.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Solid work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to walk, lift 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices in homes or commercial spaces.
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately and efficiently.
• Provide helper and apprentice level assistance with procedures.
• Install locking corner shelves, adjust hampers, and scribe mold.
• Install doors, drawers, Slat wall, and floor-based systems.
• Install countertops, islands, and trim work.
• Drive to sites and maintain company vehicles safely; report issues promptly.
• Full-time schedule: Monday through Thursday shift with overtime and bonuses.
