Job summary

Tom Wood Porsche is seeking a dependable Porter/Lot Attendant to support dealership operations and maintain the premium experience for customers. You will move and park vehicles, transport cars to service areas, and keep the lot and showroom organized and presentable.

The role supports service staff and requires attention to detail, reliability, and a professional demeanor suitable for a luxury brand environment in Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Ability to safely drive luxury and high-performance vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Move and park customer, new, and pre-owned vehicles safely throughout the dealership.
• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians by transporting vehicles to and from service areas.
• Maintain the appearance and organization of vehicle inventory on the lot and showroom.
• Ensure vehicles are properly lined up, fueled, charged, and ready for customer delivery.
• Perform vehicle washes, vacuuming, and basic detailing as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles and report any damage or concerns immediately.
• Assist with dealer trades and vehicle transportation between dealership locations.
• Install license plates, stock numbers, and vehicle information tags as directed.
• Keep parking lots, service drives, and customer-facing areas clean and presentable.
• Shuttle customers or employees when required.
• Assist with snow removal, lot clean-up, and general facility maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies while operating vehicles.
