Job summary

Tom Wood Ford in Indianapolis is seeking a Porter / Lot Attendant to keep the dealership lot organized and ready for customer use. You will park vehicles, move cars safely, and assist with washing and detailing as needed.

The role requires endurance for outdoor work, keen attention to details, and the ability to lift, walk, and stand for extended periods. Flexibility with hours is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the dealership lot by parking and moving vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Assist in keeping vehicles clean by washing, vacuuming, and detailing when necessary.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles for damage or maintenance needs and report findings promptly.
• Support the sales team by ensuring vehicles are staged and ready for customer appointments and test drives.
• Maintain a clean and safe lot environment, including picking up debris and ensuring proper signage.
• Coordinate with service and sales departments as needed to facilitate vehicle movement.
