We own and operate Altus Receivables Management Group, Brown & Joseph, Paragon, SubroIQ, and NEIS, each specializing in debt management and financial services.

NEIS, LLC, established in 1945, is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. Premium Auditors examine the financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, looking for evidence of fraud and verifying adherence to standards. This position is remote, with required daily travel to audit locations within your territory, averaging 2-4 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and standards.
• Identify necessary information and records needed for audits.
• Create schedules to optimize time management.
• Coordinate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, gather data, determine correct classifications, and describe operations accurately.
• Prepare audit documents, explain results to insureds, and communicate findings to the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations as required.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years’ experience in premium audits or a related field; entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged.
• Ability to interpret financial documents.
• Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Effective communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance.
• Weekly pay, with a stipend up to $750 during training, plus mileage and production bonuses. Post-training, pay shifts to a production-based rate of approximately $44-$46 per billable hour.
• 401(k) plan with company matching.
