Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad spectrum of salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as the role's scope, complexity, location, and the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

$69,300.00 - $114,300.00

What Is the Opportunity?

At Travelers, our Enterprise Operations teams enhance customer and agent experiences, drive revenue and underwriting results, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency. The Premium Audit group conducts audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to establish classifications, exposures, and premium bases in compliance with regulations. As a Premium Auditor, you will perform complex audits with limited oversight and may guide less experienced auditors. Audits may be virtual or in-person.

This position is based 100% remotely, with a physical territory including Topeka, KS, and surrounding areas.

What Will You Do?
  1. Conduct audits of moderate to highly complex Commercial Lines policies, reviewing business operations and financial records to determine proper classifications and exposures.
  2. Communicate audit findings to customers, agents/brokers, and underwriters to clarify premium exposure changes.
  3. Develop relationships with clients and internal partners.
  4. Stay informed about changes in premium auditing through various resources.
  5. Guide less experienced auditors when needed.
  6. Handle assigned projects and represent the company in routine court appearances.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  1. Three years of Premium Audit experience across multiple property and casualty lines.
  2. Completion of APA 91 and 92 courses.
  3. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  4. Excellent analytical skills for conducting audits efficiently.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
What is a Must Have?
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Two years of Premium Audit or related experience.
  3. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
