Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking a detail-oriented Premium Audit professional in Uniontown, PA. The role focuses on serving as a liaison between field and internal staff to ensure complete customer satisfaction and timely responses to inquiries.

You will work to meet clients’ procedural and time service expectations, clarifying protocols for accurate audits. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in Premium Audit, experience with 1099 contractors, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of Premium Audit experience.
  • Experience working with Independent Contractors (1099).
  • Knowledge of Nexus is a plus.
  • Understanding of customer experience importance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal communication with coworkers.
  • Familiarity with audit functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between field staff and internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction with timely, detailed responses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external staff to meet clients’ procedural and time service expectations.
  • Clarify customer protocols to ensure proper implementation throughout audit associates.
  • Obtain and provide status updates to management as requested.
  • Communicate customer needs, requests, and areas not meeting expectations to VP of Operations.
  • Assist Operations with field staff communications.
  • Onboard new Auditors including intro, follow-up, and company procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as contact/liaison between field staff and internal staff to ensure complete customer satisfaction, providing timely and detailed responses to all individuals questions and needs
  • Work with internal and external staff to ensure that we meet clients’ procedural and time service expectations
  • Clarify customer protocols and needs to ensure overall proper implementation throughout audit associates
  • Obtain/maintain status updates & provide updates to management as requested
  • Communicate with Premium Auditors the needs of all customers, expectations, special requests, and bring attention to VP of Operation any areas of field production that are not meeting customer needs, communications, time service and other expectations
  • Assist Operations regarding communications with field staff
  • Onboarding of new Auditors to include initial intro, follow up questions and company procedures
  • Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years with Premium Audit experience
  • Experience of working with Independent Contractors (1099) representatives
  • Knowledge of the operating system, Nexus, a plus
  • Understands the importance of customer “experience”
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and perform responsibilities with little ‘face to face’ supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Familiarity with overall organization and importance of audit functions
