The Premium Audit Specialist will support the internal premium audit team by conducting moderately complex internal audits. This role will work directly with Pie’s customers and partners to process audits accurately and timely, while at the same time finding ways to enhance the customer experience. Additionally, a strong attention to detail will be crucial in examining the insured’s information and generating final audit reports. As a specialist you are also responsible for providing assistance and expertise to other members on the audit team.

How You’ll Do It
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge and skill in performing virtual audits on Workers Compensation policies.
  • Generation of request emails for customers and partners in order to conduct audits.
  • Performing the detailed interview and review of all pertinent material (worksheets, 941 filings, profit and loss statements, etc.).
  • Communicating final audit result information to policy holders and assisting with future questions.
  • Provide Premium Audit technical support as a subject matter expert in areas such as classification use, payroll calculations, internal audit procedures, and manual rules to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviews final audit worksheets from vendor partners to ensure accuracy in handling.
  • Ensure that all Bureau Test Audit standards, where applicable, are met or exceeded. Determine actions required of Pie and vendors to ensure standards are met.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to the internal audit process.
  • Develop and/or recommend training programs to address error trends and assist with completion of process improvement projects.
  • Other tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.
The Right Stuff
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of reviewing or performing premium audits required.
  • Experience with applying WCIRB or PCRB/DCRB rules and regulations preferred.

Base Compensation Range

$23.50 - $28 USD

Location Information

Unless otherwise specified, this role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver office and from home.
