Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Premium Audit Manager to lead a team conducting virtual and some physical audits across Workers’ Compensation and General Liability.

The role focuses on service delivery, staff development, vendor management, and regulatory compliance within the Premium Audit function. The manager oversees daily operations, provides strategic direction, and fosters excellence aligned with AmTrust’s mission, vision and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in premium audit or related field.
• APA designation or willingness to obtain.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Premium Audit team conducting virtual and some physical audits across Workers’ Compensation and General Liability.
• Supervise a remote team of 12–16 Senior Premium Auditors & Premium Auditors; coaching and performance management.
• Ensure timely audit completion, maintain audit inventory, and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide training on audit systems and policy management platforms; offer technical guidance to staff.
• Analyze audit findings, resolve discrepancies, and report on productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company filings; support relationships with insureds, agents, and underwriters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement within the department.
