What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct audits of complex accounts to ensure accuracy of policy classifications and risk assessments
  • Perform interviews with insured clients to gather information about their operations and business models
  • Analyze client operations and accounting records to prepare for audits and validate classifications
  • Communicate audit findings and financial conditions to agents and underwriting teams
  • Train and guide less experienced audit staff on policy classifications and premium basis development
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Experience with ISO, NCCI & Independent Bureau States required
  • Strong knowledge of corporate auditing practices and the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting systems
