Job summary

Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America (Hannover Re) seeks a Premium Accounting Specialist I to perform premium administration for assumed client companies and to establish accurate reporting for premiums, exhibits, and reserves.

The role involves analyzing data, communicating with clients, and supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting while ensuring MAR compliance and accuracy across the process.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or related field.
• 0–2 years’ experience with Degree; if no Degree, 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to review and analyze business reports.
• Discretion in decision making and handling non-standard situations.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong internal and external customer service skills.
• Experience with internet and e-mail

Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare, and input client premium, inforce, and reserve information using treaty, statutory, and IFRS guidelines.
• Communicate with clients to resolve inconsistencies and errors; support monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
• Build relationships with client companies to understand data and resolve variances.
• Participate in special projects and communicate results to management to improve reporting accuracy.
