Job summary

Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America (Hannover Re) is seeking a Premium Accounting Specialist I to perform premium administration for assumed client companies. This full-time role sits in the SO – Accounting department and supports monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

You will analyze and input premium data, prepare accurate reports, and collaborate with internal and external clients. The role requires a BA in accounting or related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

BA degree in Accounting or related field.
0–2 years’ experience with Degree; if no Degree, 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new applications.
Intermediate MS Office: Excel

Responsibilities

Analyzes, prepares and inputs client company premium, inforce and reserve information using treaty, statutory and IFRS guidelines.
Builds productive relationships with client companies to resolve data variances and understand client data.
Acts as subject matter expert; participates in special projects and communicates results to improve accuracy of reports.
Adheres to MAR compliance; identifies efficiency improvements and assists with internal controls.
