AtlantiCare invites applications for an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join its growing, high-acuity trauma division in Atlantic City. The role encompasses comprehensive care of adult and pediatric patients, on-call and routine coverage at a Level II Trauma Center, and collaboration with regional partners to advance fracture services.

The ideal candidate is board-eligible or board-certified with experience in fracture care and post-traumatic reconstruction, and eager to build a premier regional

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified orthopedic trauma surgeon.
• Experience in fracture care and trauma services.
• Desire to build regional referral network.
• Ability to work in high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive upper and lower extremity, pelvis and acetabulum, and general orthopedic trauma care in adult and pediatric patients.
• Deliver on-call and routine coverage at a regional Level II Trauma Center.
• Perform elective orthopedic trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction procedures, experience with joint replacements is encouraged.
• Develop a regional referral base for fracture non-unions and complex cases.
• Collaborate with orthopedic partners to create a world-class comprehensive fracture service.
