Job summary

AtlantiCare in Atlantic City is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our high-acuity trauma division. You will provide comprehensive upper and lower extremity, pelvis and acetabulum, and general orthopedic trauma care for adults and children, with on-call and routine coverage at a regional Level II Trauma Center.

You will collaborate with a growing team of subspecialists, help build a premier regional fracture service, and contribute to academic initiatives

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Experience in acute trauma and fracture care for adults and children.
• Experience with complex upper/lower extremity injuries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive upper and lower extremity, pelvis and acetabulum, and general orthopedic trauma care in adults and children
• Deliver on-call and routine coverage at a regional Level II Trauma Center
• Perform elective orthopedic trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction procedures, with joint replacement experience encouraged
• Develop a regional referral base for fracture non-unions and complex cases
• Collaborate with orthopedic partners to create a world-class fracture service
