Job summary

Hendrick Collision Center Hickory is seeking a skilled body repair technician to identify and perform necessary repairs on customer vehicles in line with factory specifications.

You will inspect damage, estimate repair costs, order parts, and perform bodywork safely while maintaining quality and CSI standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures are essential; standard shifts with potential evenings or weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods.
• Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience.
• Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions.

Responsibilities

• Examine body damage on customer vehicles.
• Identifies necessary body repair work.
• Estimates cost of body work.
• Requests necessary parts.
• Performs body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts.
• Documents repairs performed.
• Performs body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Participates in required training.
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
• Complies with Company policies and procedures.
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
