Job summary

TPC Sugarloaf is seeking a General Utility/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and back-of-house areas in Duluth, GA. You will wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils, store them properly after cleaning, and support the Food & Beverage department to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include trash removal, equipment cleaning, set-up and breakdown of buffet tables, and assisting cooks and the Executive Chef as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area.
• Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items.
• Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area.
• Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently.
• Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items.
• Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems. Notify supervisor of any malfunctions
• Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand
• Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed
• Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays
• Special projects or other duties as assigned
