Please review the following job description:

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of financially complex client relationships within the mass affluent market segment within the Truist footprint. In a de novo circumstance, establish a new managed portfolio of financially complex client relationships within the segment. Utilize financial planning and advisory concepts to develop relationships and provide retail solutions including banking, mortgage, planning, investments, and insurance. Leverage the Truist referral network for client acquisition and service.

Essential functions include:

  1. Managing a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and servicing a range of banking and advisory products, delivering personalized service.
  2. Understanding client financial needs through profiling and financial planning analysis; coordinating with financial advisors on investments.
  3. Staying informed on economic, legal, and market trends affecting clients; serving as a financial resource for clients and their advisors.
  4. Achieving revenue, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, and marketing products.
  5. Building relationships with internal specialists to support client service and development; advocating for clients.
  6. Developing external business relationships to support growth.
  7. Ensuring compliance within regulatory frameworks.
  8. Participating in the development of the Premier Banking program.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, with at least five years of financial services experience, or one year in a client relationship role. Active FINRA licenses and compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act are required. Strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills are essential.

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience in mass affluent banking, and professional certifications such as CFP or CFA. Leadership training or banking school completion is also preferred.
