Amazing Prep Academy, a faith-based preschool at Amazing Church in McKinney, TX, is seeking qualified Pre-Kindergarten Teachers who love Jesus and want to positively impact young lives. The role focuses on early education, nurturing environments, and strong connections with families.

You will implement age-appropriate curricula, monitor development, and collaborate with directors and parents to support children's growth in a joyful, safe setting.

Qualifications

• Biblical worldview expectation for teaching
• Previous experience with young children in preschool/childcare

Responsibilities

• Use lesson plans with age-appropriate curricula (A Beka and BrightWheel Experience Early Learning Curriculum).
• Plan children’s learning and skill growth through observation and assessment.
• Maintain and organize your classroom space to create a nurturing environment.
• Communicate with parents regularly via Engage App on classroom iPad.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Make every day engaging and fun for children and staff.
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills.
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques.

• Plan children's learning & skill growth through observation and assessment
• Take responsibility of your specific classroom space to create nurturing and stimulating environment leading to tremendous pride in your accomplishments
• Communicate to parents regularly, using our Engage App on your classroom iPad, about their child's progress
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
• Make every day FUN for your kids and yourself!
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

• Teach from a Biblical Worldview
• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to use engaging and interactive lesson plans
