Responsibilities

• Assist students by reinforcing reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in administration and correction of classroom exercises and assessments.
• Assist in preparing materials and strategies for instructional reinforcement.
• Maintain records documenting student progress and performance.
• Support classroom behavior management to keep a safe, on-task environment.
• Supervise students in non-instructional areas (lunch, bus, playground, study hall).
• Accompany students on field trips for supervision and support.
• Assist with parent contact to encourage involvement and collaboration.
• Support students with disabilities to maximize inclusion and learning.
