Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP), a multifaceted community action agency, has an opening for a full time 10-month Pre-K Teacher in Franklin County, VA. This position is responsible for planning and carrying out the educational program and the day-to-day operations of the classroom. The qualifications for this position include an Associate’s Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education (prefer Bachelor’s Degree), three years’ experience working with pre‑school age children, excellent written and oral communication skills, and basic computer skills. Salary range for this position is $18.13 - $21.92 per hour. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, disability insurance, 401k, and PTO.
