Job summary

Somerset Community Action Program in New Jersey is seeking a passionate Pre-K Teacher to provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children. You will develop and implement age-appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development while fostering a love of learning.

In this role you will plan and deliver curriculum, create a structured classroom with positive behavior-management practices, ensure safety and well-being,

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CDA credential or state teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with pre-kindergarten children in a licensed childcare center or school setting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
• Must successfully pass all required background and fingerprint checks.
