Summary

We are seeking an energetic, dependable teacher for our 3-4 yr. old classroom. Application must be experienced with working with young children. Center setting not required, but preferred. Must be able to balance fun with structure.

Hours: 2p – 6:15p, Monday – Friday.

Duties

• Maintaining a safe, comfortable, clean environment for the children.
• Supervising snack time and outside play.
• Facilitating fun learning activities for the children.
• Effectively communicating with co-workers and parents.
• Light cleaning in classroom at end of day.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Proof of high school completion.
• Experience working with young children.
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
• High energy and ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development and willingness to complete required online training at no cost.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain the provided training.
• Ability to stand on feet for a period of time, use hands and fingers, handle objects/tools/controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• Provide verifiable references.
• Non-smoker.
