Norwich Public Schools is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavior analytic services for special education students. The RBT will work under supervision, assist with training, and implement behavior plans aligned with educational objectives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute positively to student development and collaborative team efforts.
TEMPORARY/PART-TIME POSITION:
DATES: 6/16/25 through 8/22/2025
HOURS: 8am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday
NON-WORK DAYS: 6/19, 7/4, 7/28 - 8/8

Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Job Goal: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavior analytic services for special education students enrolled in educational programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); assists with training regarding behavior intervention techniques for paraprofessionals and parents/guardians; and implements plans that conform to IDEA, Connecticut law and regulations, as well as other applicable statutes and regulations.
