Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• An Associate degree or 60 credits, or a BA with licensure preferred.
• Experience with special education settings desirable.
• Must meet Work Keys/Paraprofessional Assessment benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Prepare instructional materials and support small groups or individuals.
• Supervise students during activities and field trips.
• Support behavior management in classroom settings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate of Arts or Science Degree or higher, or 60 undergraduate college credits

BA Degree with Educator Licensure

Experience working with special education students
