Cadence Education is hiring a PreKindergarten Lead Teacher in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead a classroom, plan and deliver curriculum, and support children’s growth across development domains while ensuring safety and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6-12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred depending on education/credentials.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for every child.
• Build positive professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse development needs and implement IEPs and behavior plans as required.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence philosophy and programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence systems.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following policy and licensing requirements.
• Document and report accidents and escalated behaviors according to policy.
• Follow Cadence Education policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development, including outside hours.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
