Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support PreK/Kindergarten teachers with daily classroom instruction, activities, centers, and small-group learning.
• Assist students during classroom and grade-level transitions throughout the school day.
• Provide additional supervision and support during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, specials, and other Kindergarten activities as needed.
• Reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and positive student behavior.
• Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and maintaining an organized learning environment.
• Help ensure the safety and appropriate supervision of students at all times.
• Support the individual needs of students while encouraging independence and confidence.
• Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students, and families.
• Model Christian values and actively support the mission and ministry of San Marcos Academy.
