DOUBLE BRANCH ELEMENTARY in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an Instructional Assistant IA for PreK-ESE for the 2026-2027 school year. Under supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher, you will support students in ESE and DJJ programs and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Candidates typically hold an associate degree or 60 college credit hours, or have ParaPro certification; completion of required trainings such as CPR/First Aid and CPI is expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field.
• 60 semester hours of college/university level course work from an accredited institution.
• Obtain qualifying score to pass the ParaPro Assessment. A condition of employment may be considered for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment.
• Support students under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher in ESE and DJJ programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety trainings as required.

Education
