Qualifications

• Current Licensure for Educational Assistant.
• Minimum: High school diploma, (AA or higher preferred).
• Ability to fulfill the dexterity and physical requirements of the work, and effectively attend to the needs of school age children; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Additional hours training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all work in teacher's work room.
• Checks and operates all equipment (some maintenance).
• Works with and for all teachers.
• Establishes schedules: materials to be checked out, lounge duty, birthdays.
• Keeps records of materials being ordered and used in working room.
• Works in front office while secretaries are out, fills in classrooms when teachers need to be out of their rooms.
