The Goddard School of Raleigh (Brier Creek) is seeking an Assistant Teacher who is energetic and nurturing. You will assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and provide support to children's development through active engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Basic understanding of child development necessary.
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state education, experience and credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean learning environment.
