• Electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage purchase orders, align delivery with project schedule.
• Assist in specification reviews, bid preparation, submittal review, and quotes, including supplier work statements and proposals.
• Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely arrival of materials.
• Track incorrect or late orders and expedite as needed.
• Resolve payment and/or material discrepancies; track refunds if necessary.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract obligations are met; identify new suppliers as needed.
• Issue and maintain department reports.
• Assist with material inspection, factory testing, and coordination of meetings.

Job description

EPI Power is hiring a Procurement Engineer. The Procurement Engineer is responsible for overseeing the purchasing of materials for the Pre Fab Shop. This role orders materials and services, monitors delivery status, and facilitates communication between the project team and suppliers.

What You’ll Do:

• Initiate and manage purchase orders, evaluate project schedule, and align delivery of materials accordingly
• Participate in the specification review, bid preparation, submittal review, and quote solicitation process to include developing supplier work statements, soliciting proposals, and negotiating costs
• Collaborate with logistics team members to ensure timely arrival of materials
• Track incorrect or late orders and expedite as needed
• Resolve payment and/or material discrepancies; track and obtain refund if necessary
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract obligations are met; identify new suppliers as needed
• Issue and maintain department reports
• Assist with material inspection, factory testing, and coordination of meetings
