Job summary

The University of Rochester seeks a full-time predoctoral research associate (Data Analyst II) to join the Health and Environmental Economics Lab. You will collect and organize data, conduct statistical analyses on large databases, and contribute to manuscript writing with potential co-authorship.

You will work under Dr. Elaine L. Hill, supporting faculty research, and collaborate with the HEEL team to advance research progress and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistical analysis, data base management, or related discipline with 1 year experience in data analysis or CRM systems.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational, data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and supports research projects, compiling, manipulating, and analyzing data using Stata, SAS, R, or Python; creates maps and links spatial data to health data.
• Collaborates with the research team; maintains effective communication with faculty, HEEL team, and outside collaborators.
• Manages project priorities and provides guidance and training to staff; works independently to progress research.
• Other duties as assigned.
