Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking a Predictive Analytics Analyst II to join a newly formed team focused on faster, more accurate financial decision-making. You will leverage data, analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights to influence senior leadership decisions across Finance.

The role offers high visibility, autonomy, and collaboration with stakeholders; required strong SQL, ETL, Python/R skills and experience in data pipelines within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s a plus.
• 3+ years in data analytics or predictive analytics.
• Background in insurance pricing, underwriting or claims is preferred.
• Strong SQL, ETL, and data pipeline development skills.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R and data visualization basics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and implementation of predictive analytics to support key business decisions.
• Apply statistical techniques to build models and generate actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and transformations.
• Perform data extraction, preparation, and integration across sources with quality control.
• Use SQL and Python/R to analyze large datasets and deliver analytic solutions.
• Design reports and visualizations to communicate insights and track metrics.
