Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Lead Precut Inventory Control Clerk to oversee daily reconciliation, allocation, transfers, adjustments and repacks in the precut warehouse areas 80 and 81. You will monitor counts, verify lot and pallet accuracy, and communicate with Production Supervisors to ensure output and quality.

Responsibilities include running inventory reports, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with Production, Receiving and Purchasing, and directing bagging, sealing and boxing of products.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of basic inventory management in a distribution environment, preferably produce.
• Counting, identification of size and type of produce.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory counts between physical and system daily and end of month.
• Run reports to identify and resolve inventory problems in coordination with Production Manager.
• Communicate clearly with Production/Receiving/Purchasing personnel.
• Allocate product transfers, repacks, and inventory adjustments.
• Verify physical counts when discrepancies are discovered.
• Direct bagging, sealing and boxing of all products from the production room.

Job Purpose/Objective:The Lead Precut Inventory Control Clerk will monitor the team responsible for daily inventory count reconciliation, allocation, transfers, adjustments and repacks. Monitors finished product counts in the packaging area, incoming product counts, inventory and quality in precut warehouse locations for both warehouse 80 and 81. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment, possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and have strong project management and organizational skills.Electric Pallet Jack and Stand-Up Forklift CertifiedPreferred Qualifications:• High School Diploma or Equivalent required• Advanced Inventory management (3-5 years) in a produce distribution environment• Advanced Microsoft EXCEL and Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Inventory Management Software Applications• Flexibility and adaptability to change in work assignments and priorities. Experience in inventory management, experience with process control improvements and analytical training. Bi-lingual (Spanish & English).
