Job summary

HITT Contracting, Inc. seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating from concept through construction documents for assigned projects.

You will conduct feasibility studies, budgets, value engineering, and present findings to clients and internal teams in a fast-paced office setting, with site visits as needed. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of estimating experience, with strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of experience with at least 2 years in estimating.
• Read drawings and specs; identify missing elements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze technical information and market trends.
• Coordinate with developers, architects, subs, and HITT during design phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete suite of estimating services with minimal oversight.
• Estimate a variety of building types.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines; prioritize tasks.
• Present technical and financial information to stakeholders.
• Office-based work with site visits as needed; wear safety gear on site.
