Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Preconstruction Manager based in the United States to lead planning and development for major construction projects. You will manage a team of Preconstruction Specialists, Engineers, and CAD/BIM modelers, coordinating with estimating and production to set budgets, schedules, scopes, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Preconstruction Specialists, including Preconstruction Engineers and CAD/BIM modelers.
• Oversee preconstruction activities: planning, budgeting, WBS, BOM, specification validation, scheduling, risk assessment.
• Develop accurate conceptual and final estimates with Estimating team; identify cost-saving options and risks.
• Lead bid process: subcontractor solicitation, scope definition, vendor negotiations, bid evaluation.
• Coordinate preconstruction efforts from design to handoff across diverse project types.
• Collaborate with clients, owners, architects, engineers, estimators, and production teams to define scope and execution strategies.
• Ensure documentation and smooth handoff from preconstruction to Production teams.
• Apply standardized preconstruction processes to maintain quality and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Promote safety culture and reinforce safe practices across the team.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies for successful execution.
