Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• P.E. licensure or eligibility preferred.
• 7+ years in civil engineering, estimating, and preconstruction.
• Experience preparing budgets, estimates, takeoffs, and value engineering.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specs for accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, geotechnical reports and documents to determine scope.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, drainage, and structures.
• Develop detailed construction cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subs.
• Evaluate construction methods, sequencing, and temporary works.
• Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies for schedule and cost.
• Coordinate pre-bid meetings, site visits, design reviews, and constructability reviews.
• Prepare RFIs, clarifications, and bid documentation.
• Lead preconstruction activities with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
