Kiewit Building Group is looking for a Senior Preconstruction Manager that can lead various estimates up to $250+ million for vertical commercial projects in the markets of commercial buildings, healthcare, mixed use, housing, government installations. Duties will include, but are not limited to leading a team of estimators, participate and implement win strategies, presentation of estimates to Executive Management and estimates to clients, reading and interpreting documents, subcontractor solicitation, analyze drawing and specifications for risk. Reviewing and assisting with proposals, managing 3rd party cost estimating contractors, and other duties as required to prepare cost estimates for various types of work (including self-perform). Conceptual estimating, preconstruction services, design-assist and design-build management.
District OverviewKiewit Building Group specializes in constructing office buildings, industrial complexes, education and sports facilities, hotels, hospitals, transportation terminals, science and technology facilities, manufacturing, retail, and special-use facilities. Contracting models include firm fixed price, RSMeans based Coefficients, CMGC, design-build, progressive design build, and IPD.
LocationThis position will be based in the Kiewit Building Group office in Springfield, VA.
Some travel will be required for pursuits in other geographical regions and offices.

Base Compensation:$139,644 -$188,538
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
