RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Preconstruction Manager in Spanish Fork, Utah. You will own the preconstruction process, develop budgets, and drive strategies to position the company for the right work.
You'll collaborate with owners, architects, engineers and leaders to craft competitive proposals, manage bid processes, and mentor the team as the department grows, delivering value from pursuit to project handoff.
We’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager who knows that great projects are won long before the first shovel hits the ground. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, highly respected construction team in Spanish Fork, Utah , where your expertise will directly influence the projects pursued, the strategies behind them, and the success of the business.
With a compensation range of $120,000-$160,000 , this role is built for a seasoned construction professional who can bring together estimating, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor relationships, client communication, and strategic thinking. You’ll be the person in the room asking the right questions, spotting opportunities, identifying risk, and turning a set of plans into a smart, competitive path forward.
As the Preconstruction Manager , you’ll take ownership of the preconstruction process from initial opportunity through project handoff. You’ll work closely with owners, architects, engineers, estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and leadership to develop accurate budgets, build effective project strategies, and position the company to win the right work.
This isn’t a role where you simply shuffle numbers around a spreadsheet. You’ll have a meaningful voice in how projects are pursued, priced, planned, and ultimately delivered .
You’ll evaluate drawings and specifications, coordinate estimating efforts, develop conceptual budgets, analyze scope, manage bid processes, identify value-engineering opportunities, and help create proposals that stand out from the crowd. When challenges arise, you’ll be expected to bring solutions, not just red flags.
We’re searching for someone who combines construction knowledge with business sense . You understand how projects are actually built, but you also understand that successful preconstruction requires communication, strategy, relationships, and an eye for the bigger picture.
The ideal candidate will bring:
The best person for this position is curious, analytical, confident, collaborative, and commercially minded . You can dig into a set of drawings for hours, then walk into a client meeting and explain the strategy in plain English.
You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, asking tough questions, challenging assumptions, and finding smarter ways to approach a project. You know that the best preconstruction teams don’t simply produce estimates. They create confidence .
If you’re the type of construction professional who enjoys being involved early, loves solving complicated problems, builds relationships naturally, and wants a seat at the table when important decisions are being made, this could be your next big move.
If you’re ready to move beyond simply estimating projects and want to help shape the projects, relationships, strategies, and opportunities that drive a construction company forward , this is a chance to put your experience to work in a bigger way.
Bring the construction knowledge. Bring the strategy. Bring the “there has to be a better way” mindset.
We’ll provide the opportunity to build what comes next.
