Job summary

gpac is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in New Jersey to lead planning, estimating, and budgeting for commercial construction from concept through award. The role requires collaboration with clients, architects, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution from day one.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction management, with strong vendor and stakeholder management, budgeting, and value engineering capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction management.
• Experience managing NJ public sector preconstruction, bidding, procurement, and prevailing wage.
• Strong budgeting, value engineering, and cost analysis skills.
• Ability to lead meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Experience with bid packages, subcontractor proposals, and scheduling.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
