Job summary

Lithko Contracting is searching for a Preconstruction Lead in Detroit, Michigan, who will manage business development and estimation processes. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in Commercial Construction with a focus on self-perform concrete experience.

The Preconstruction Lead will be responsible for building market relationships, ensuring project estimates are accurate, and preparing teams for project execution. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Construction for a large scale Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor.
• Strong business development background and construction market knowledge is strongly preferred.
• General knowledge of construction principles/practices required, with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.

Responsibilities

• Manage, implement, and refine new business development and preconstruction processes.
• Build relationships within the market to identify opportunities for new business.
• Validate and formulate accurate bid strategies.
