Job summary

Pepper Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer/Estimator to join our Cincinnati team. You will work with the preconstruction team to develop detailed pricing, estimates, and constructability analyses for commercial projects, collaborating with design and operations from RFP through GMP.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Construction Management or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in markets such as commercial office, healthcare, or hospitality.

Qualifications

• B.S. in CM or related field preferred.
• 2+ years industry experience in construction.
• Experience in markets such as commercial office, healthcare, hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in winning work and bid strategy.
• Develop detailed pricing and conceptual estimates.
• Prepare scopes of work by trade and perform value engineering.
• Support building systems analysis and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with design team to finalize GMP/bid documents.
