Job summary

Pepper Construction Group LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer/Estimator to join our team. You will report to the Vice President of Preconstruction and work with Operations leads to plan projects, develop GMPs, and prepare bid documents from Design Team drawings.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or Engineering, 2+ years of industry experience, and experience in commercial office, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years industry experience.
• Experience in markets such as commercial office, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, industrial, interiors, K-12, manufacturing or retail.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in winning work
• Perform detailed quantity surveys both manually and electronically
• Develop detailed pricing
• Develop detailed scopes of work by trade
• Perform Value Engineering/Value Analysis
• Assist with developing comparable building analysis
• Assist with performing building systems analysis and constructability reviews
• Assist with developing conceptual estimates from limited information
