Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a motivated estimator to join our preconstruction team in Sugar Hill, GA. You will perform quantity takeoffs, check plans, maintain vendor/subcontractor bid lists, and communicate with subcontractors during bidding.

The role requires strong communication and time management, with the opportunity to work on challenging projects in the construction industry. Local on-site work in Sugar Hill, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with preconstruction software and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Quantity surveying and other tasks to assist in producing project estimates.
• Check plans and specs to ensure documents are correct and complete.
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor bid lists and contact details.
• Communicate persistently with subcontractors during bidding and review scope/pricing.

What Can You Expect:

• Quantity surveying and other associated basic assigned tasks to assist in producing project estimates and support the preconstruction team.
• Check Plans and Specifications to ensure all documents are correct and received.
• Maintains preferred vendor and subcontractor bid list and ensures accuracy of contacts listed.
• Communicate "persistently" with subcontractors during bidding process to gauge bidding interest as well as following up to
  

  review project scope and pricing.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: All Preconstruction Sotfware that may inlcude: Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Revit, Building Connected, On-screen Take Off, Agtek, Procore, Viewpoint Field Work Center, HCSS, and Destini.
• Ability to work under constant pressure and perform well in order to complete the required targets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills and time management practices
