Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in applicable field or HS diploma with 2+ years in lab/animal care setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and teamwork.
• Ability to follow SOPs, policies and regulatory procedures; flexibility to multitask.
• Experience in preclinical environments and animal handling; ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic procedures from study requirements and adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Accurate data entry in lab IT systems and maintain documentation per protocols.
• Receive training to perform procedures proficiently and contribute to new procedure development.
• Maintain lab spaces, organize supplies, monitor equipment status, uphold lab stewardship.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
