Job summary

CCN International is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate woodworking machinery to produce components for custom office furniture. You will follow production drawings and work orders, check dimensions and quality, and maintain equipment.

Preferred candidates have experience with CNC routers and a strong focus on safety and accuracy. This full-time role offers health benefits, 401k, PTO, and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating industrial woodworking equipment is required.
• Experience producing furniture or cabinetry is preferred.
• CNC router experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate shapers, veneer panel sanders, edge banders, solid wood processing equipment, and other woodworking machinery.
• Use handheld power tools and other equipment to cut, shape, sand, and prepare wood components.
• Read production drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and processing requirements.
• Measure and inspect materials and finished components for accuracy, appearance, and quality; identify and report defects or equipment problems.
• Operate a CNC router when assigned and trained to do so.
• Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and operator-level maintenance; report repair needs to the supervisor.
• Handle materials and maintain an organized work area to support efficient production.
• Follow machine-safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment and comply with company policies.
• Work with supervisors and coworkers to meet production schedules and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
