Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Richmond, IN is seeking an Industrial Wet Spray Coatings Technician to prep parts, apply primer and paint, and ensure quality finishes. You will operate spray equipment, verify color codes, and maintain production quality while adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

Shift options include First Shift 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and Second Shift 2:30 p.m.–1:00 a.m. The role is full-time with benefits such as health, dental, and life insurance, plus PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in liquid/wet coating processes in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on knowledge of paint equipment mechanics and basic repair.
• Strong attention to detail and finish quality.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel parts for coating through cleaning, masking, and staging on fixtures.
• Apply primer and paint using professional wet-spray techniques to customer specifications.
• Review and interpret instructions, specifications, color codes, and mixing charts.
• Operate spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems safely and effectively.
• Monitor equipment readings and observe operation to identify and correct defects.
• Evaluate paint flow and finish quality via visual inspections.
• Meet productivity, quality, and on-time performance targets for each order.
• Follow safety standards to maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Load and unload parts to and from fixtures to support throughput.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on finishing equipment.
• Use, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, and related waste properly.
